We are very excited to have a special IN-PERSON and ONLINE Toronto Fiddle Collective held in ONLINE hosted by MIRANDA MULHOLLAND. Join us ONLINE on WEDNESDAY APRIL 17th 2024 from 7pm-930pm EST. Starting with a fiddle workshop at 7pm EST, followed by a concert at 8pm, then jam until 930pm.

All ages, levels and folk instruments welcome. The ZOOM LINK will be sent just before the concert. Participants/viewers should make sure they can access ZOOM on their device. You may need to download the app if you are on a phone or tablet. We hope to see you online.

About the band:

Miranda Mulholland is a JUNO nominated Canadian Singer and Fiddler. She is in high
demand as a solo performer and as a collaborator. Dubbed the “Sweet secret weapon
of Canadian Roots Music'' by Brad Wheeler at the Globe and Mail, her touring and
recording credits include Great Lake Swimmers, Belle Starr, Bowfire, Harrow Fair, Alan
Doyle, The Jim Cuddy Band and many, many more. She has performed on over 100
albums as well as on TV show and film scores and in theatre. She runs a boutique
record label out of Toronto called Roaring Girl Records which is the home to a select
group of diverse artists. Miranda's new solo music is an exploration of original and
traditional folk song using the full palette of her violin and voice with looping and effects

The Toronto Fiddle Collective (TFC) is a community gathering run by local fiddler and teacher Celina Marie DiCecca. She started the monthly gathering in 2014 as a means for her students to play tunes together as well as learn from and see intimate concerts by other professional fiddlers from all over the world. Now 6 years later, fiddlers and folkies from all over southern Ontario join in on the fun. 

Fiddlers and folk musicians of all ages and levels come together on the 3rd Wednesday of every month for various fiddle focused events. TFC hosts a new special guest professional musician to run/lead workshops, kitchen parties, jam sessions, concerts, dances and more. To keep up to date with TFC, simply email fiddleshow@gmail.com and you will be added to the monthly e-news email list.
